Dymon Introduces New Design Partners For Dymon 2.0 and GTA Expansion

September 8, 2017

Today, Senior Officials at Dymon Storage Corporation unveiled the new prototypical design for their state of-the-art storage facilities to be built in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). Working with the award winning firm of TACT Architecture and retail designers Perennial Inc., Dymon is creating a look and feel that is unparalleled in the storage industry.

Building on its success in the City of Ottawa where Dymon Storage now controls over 76% of the storage market, Dymon Storage plans to build approximately eighty (80) facilities comprising over 10 million square feet of its industry leading properties in the GTA.

“We are very pleased with the design of our new Dymon Storage facilities”, said Brent Wilson, President of Dymon Storage Corporation. “There is really nothing like it in the marketplace.”

Two (2) outstanding properties are currently under development in the GTA – (1) a 200,000 sq. ft. facility in Brampton (on Airport Road at Nevets), and (2) an over 400,000 sq. ft. facility at 1460 The Queensway in Etobicoke.

“We are thrilled to have secured the Queensway location directly across from IKEA”, said Glen Luckman, CEO of Dymon Storage Corporation. “This Dymon Storage location will be the largest self storage facility of its kind in North America, and is designed to become the ‘Bass Pro’ of storage in Toronto.”

Dymon is also completing due diligence on ten (10) other exceptional sites it has secured, including in Vaughan, York Mills, Burlington, Oakville, and in the city of Toronto.

All of Dymon’s sites have high visibility and are oriented around big box retail. According to Luckman, “We have moved storage into the mainstream and away from industrial parks and rural areas. Dymon Storage represents an entirely new storage paradigm offering a very strong value proposition for customers. In addition to Dymon’s state-of-the-art storage solutions, Dymon offers a unique array of products and ancillary services including DymonShred (a drop-off shredding service), DymonDoc (a unique customermanaged file archiving system), DymonMine (an on-line marketplace to buy and sell items), DymonBox (an eco-friendly plastic bin rental alternative to traditional cardboard boxes), DymonMoves (a professional in-house moving service available to customers who wish to enhance the move-in experience), and DymonConcierge (an ultra-convenient storage-on-demand service).”

“We are thrilled to have launched our Toronto program”, Luckman added. “Our relentless focus on delivering an unparalleled customer experience in the self storage industry has enabled Dymon to establish a strong brand in the Ottawa marketplace. As we continue to expand our Dymon portfolio, we are committed to delivering the same reliable storage experience to the GTA. With our beautiful new Dymon 2.0 design and expanded retail experience, we are excited for what is in store for Toronto.”
